Chaotic scenes during the AIK and Halmstad match – goalkeeper kicked another player

The match ignited with a quarter to go. AIK received a penalty after the ball was controlled at HBK’s Amir Al-Ammari. The judge Glenn Nyberg did not hesitate and pointed to the penalty spot.

Step forward Loannis Pittas and scored the equalizer.

Chaos then erupted.

The away team’s goalkeeper Marko Johansson got concussion, kicked Pittas when he tried to retrieve the ball quickly, and got a red card.

Both Halmstad and AIK could have secured the Allsvenskan contract if they won – but the match ended 1-1 and the bottom drama continues into the last.

HBK, AIK, BP and IFK Göteborg are the teams fighting to avoid qualifying games. Admittedly, Degerfors also has a chance – but it is minimal.

Halmstad otherwise had control over the match picture in Solna and fairly took the lead in the first half through Viktor Granath.

In the half-time interview with Discovery+, AIK player Anton Salétros was not gracious with the criticism of his own team:

— We are far too bad, we are not on our toes. The last goal must not happen, said the midfielder.

Next, AIK meets IFK Göteborg in a pure anxiety meeting. Halmstad is pitted against Kalmar.
