Between TPS and HIFK, the emotions warmed up so much that a total of 64 minutes of cooling was seen in the game. TPS advanced from the series to the semifinals with a 3-1 win.

TPS: n Juhani Jasu leveled the game in the second set to 1-1 with a stunning rise, the rest of which began to happen. HIFK got to try after this with force majeure, after which the HIFK defender Johan Motin was directed to the shower side.

Motin tackled TPS in the middle Topias from Haapa, and after the video inspection, the judges confirmed the rigging of the head or neck area in question. The people of Turku got to the top in five minutes.

– If you want to develop hockey and keep it safe, there is no alternative to whistling for five minutes in such situations, Sport’s expert Topi Nättinen commented on the Hockey Tour.

– It wasn’t bad, outrageous or intentional, but Taklaus was practically headed. I think the video is very clear and well utilized, Nättinen continued.

However, TPS was overwhelmed. First, Turku residents were sentenced to a team penalty for too many field players. After that, it wasn’t long to play when Jonne Tammelan knee bump HIFK striker Jere Innalan knee. The sentence was 5 + 20 minutes from kneeling and Tammela also went to the shower.

Innala was led to the exchange box and she went to the booth but was able to return to the ice.

– This was a pretty typical situation. Tammela left the tackle and Innala changed direction, and Tammela no longer had time to take the tackle back. The good thing about Innala is that her legs are together. The right foot is not left free, which would put pressure on the inside, Nättinen comments.

The special five-minute culminated in HIFK Otto Paajanen hook ice and Aarne Intosen overpower. Intonen tempered for a moment, then shot sharply into the front corner. The goal was third for Intonen in the playoffs.

Intonen’s goal rose to a significant role, as HIFK was unable to overtake Karejev in the final. The TPS guard eventually garnered 34 repulsions.

– No real goals were scored. I think we gave ourselves a chance to win, but TPS defended well and last there was a good miller. They deserved their victory, the outspoken Paajanen regretted.

TPS finished the evening’s final scores four seconds before the end to an empty finish when Markus Nurmi hit his second goal in the spring. The power point was already the ninth for Nurme this season.

– This series was like our miniature season. Everything happened and happened. However, we were able to weld well together during the series. The games were different, but we always found some way to win the four games, Jasu commented.

TPS is now among the four for the second time in a row. Jasu is already looking forward to the next series against Ilves.

– I understand that Tampere is loud and the same seems to be here in Turku. I think it’s going to be a really great, eventful and audience-friendly series. We will definitely hit everything in the league, Jasu summed up.

KooKoo is sensational in the semifinals

In Mikkeli, KooKoo securely secured its place in the semi-finals when it won the final round by hitting Jukurit 1–0. The semi-finals are the first in the history of Kouvola’s KooKoo.
