A statement was made on the CENTCOM website regarding the UAV attacks in Iraq.

The statement stated that “the US army defended against three UAVs near US and coalition forces in Iraq in the last 24 hours.”

In the statement, it was stated that US forces destroyed a UAV in Western Iraq, and that the second UAV was damaged, but “resulted in minor injuries to coalition forces.”
