The alarm came in at 08.19 on Thursday and a fire started in a garage and basement belonging to the police in Kalix.
– The fire is out, but there is still smoke, said Marie Andersson, press communicator at the police, at 09:20.
The staff was evacuated and there are currently no reports of injuries.
At 09:40 SOS announces the cause of the fire.
– The fire started in a car and it is now out. The emergency services are currently ventilating the premises, says an operator.
