Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said in a statement, “Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share that after many meaningful and difficult conversations we have decided to leave. As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and all that we have built and will continue to do. For the sake of our children, we ask that you respect our privacy and their privacy. Thank you,” he said.
