Canada: strike widely followed in hospitals and schools in Quebec

Canada strike widely followed in hospitals and schools in Quebec

Nearly 10% of the working population of Quebec was on strike this Thursday, November 23 in hospitals and at schools, and the social movement continues this Friday for teachers. More than 572,000 state employees, negotiating the renewal of their collective agreement, are demanding better salaries and, above all, better working conditions from the government. Several demonstrations took place in Montreal and Quebec, hoping to obtain concessions from the government.
