Cameroonian Didier Lamkel Zé leaves Russia for Metz

Cameroonian striker Didier Lamkel Zé, who had been loaned by Royal Antwerp (Belgian 1st div.) to FC Khimki, has left the Russian club and will finish this season in Metz, the Moselle Ligue 1 club announced on Friday April 1. The 25-year-old Cameroonian international (1 cap), who had been training in Metz since mid-March, was released from his loan to FC Khimki following the conflict in Ukraine. Lamkel Zé is operational, according to coach Frédéric Antonetti, and should appear in the group on Sunday against Monaco, on behalf of the 30th day of Ligue 1. The Cameroonian striker of 1.92 m has already evolved in France, at Lille under 19 and as a reserve team (2015-16), and at Niort (2016-18) in Ligue 2.
