At Amazon, MediaMarkt and Saturn you can now get the recently released sci-fi horror game The Callisto Protocol at the lowest price for PS4, PS5 and Xbox.
AAA horror on sale: The sci-fi horror game The Callisto Protocol is currently available at a rock-bottom price on Amazon, MediaMarkt and Saturn. The LastGen versions for PS4 and Xbox One are reduced by 38% for €36.99 instead of the original €59.99. The NextGen version for PS5 is even reduced by 43% on Amazon, from €69.99 to €39.99. The spiritual “Dead Space” successor only appeared at the beginning of December, so horror fans get a very attractive offer here.
The Callisto Protocol at Amazon
Neither Amazon nor MediaMarkt or Saturn have an indication until when the offers are valid. Due to the fact that the title is only released from the age of 18, shipping costs €5.00 (Amazon) or €4.99 (MediaSaturn), since an identity check takes place upon delivery. With the latter, however, you have the option of picking up the game at a branch near you and thus avoiding the shipping costs.
How good is The Callisto Protocol?
Strong Atmosphere: The colleagues from GamePro have thoroughly tested The Callisto Protocol. There is great praise for the great atmosphere, which is reminiscent of Dead Space. This is not surprising since former developers of the successful series are also involved in The Callisto Protocol. Great light and shadow effects, an eerie background noise and the gloomy art design, all of this comes together to create an atmospheric staging and gives you goosebumps while playing. When opposing or even your own character dies, there is no shortage of splatter effects.
Little variety: The Callisto Protocol places significantly more emphasis on melee combat compared to Dead Space. The attacks also feel correspondingly powerful. Unfortunately, the game lacks variety in terms of weapon choices and enemy types. While the available equipment can be upgraded with motivating upgrades, that’s not quite enough to keep the gameplay exciting throughout the game.
