Police arrived at an address in Wallaceburg and the man, who was found to have an outstanding warrant, was arrested.

While being searched during the arrest, police said the man was found with suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.

He was processed and released with a future court date, police said.

Crash leads to impaired charge

A 27-year man is facing an impaired charge after Chatham-Kent police responded to a motor vehicle crash in Chatham on Friday.

Police said the man failed a screening device test at the crash site and was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

The accused was taken to police headquarters for breath tests, which resulted in two breath samples over the legal limit, police said.

The man was released with a future short date, police said.
