Cairo Communication first quarter loss decreased to 29 million

(Finance) – In the first quarter of 2022, the group Cairo Communication has achieved consolidated revenues gross of 253.6 million (246.8 million in 2021), an EBITDA of 14.6 million (13.8 million in 2021), a negative ebit for 3.8 million (-5.4 million in 2021) and one net loss of 2.9 million which is reduced compared to the red of 3.9 million in 2021.

As of March 31st the net financial position is equal to 70.7 million, with an improvement of 33.7 million compared to the end of 2021.

Outlook
In consideration of the actions already implemented and those planned, in the absence of a worsening of health conditions and / or of the consequences attributable to the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine and / or the dynamics of costs, the group believes that “it is possible to set the goal of confirming margins (EBITDA) in 2022 in line with those achieved in 2021 and a consequent further improvement in the net financial position compared to the end of 2021”.
