After The Walking Dead ends, the story of the zombie apocalypse will continue with new spin-offs. It starts with the series The Walking Dead: Dead City, which you can stream on Magenta TV since October 13, 2023.
The Walking Dead reunion with Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is not a self-contained mini-series, but an ongoing storywhich after 6 episodes leaves us with a cliffhanger ending and craving a sequel.

Season 1 took approximately 11 months from start of filming to premiere. If the strike ends soon and production starts this year, Dead City could be shown as early as the end of 2024. A start date in 2025 currently seems more realistic. But the TWD universe won’t let us down and has a lot to offer until then:
