Right now there is a large police operation in Vasastan in central Stockholm.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, it is a burglary at a currency exchange office, and the perpetrators are believed to have made off with several million kroner.
– The only thing I can say is that we have an ongoing effort. I cannot go into more details. We have resources at the scene and are gathering information, says police spokesperson Mathias Rutegård.
A witness that TV4 Nyheterna spoke to who lives in the area says she saw several police cars driving at high speed in the area.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the police are looking for at least one car after the break-in, and according to police spokesperson Mathias Rutegård, no one has yet been detained.
