Police in Brazil say they have strong evidence that a man involved in illegal fishing ordered the murder of a British journalist and a Brazilian indigenous expert in the Amazon in 2022.
Eduardo Fontes, head of police in the Amazon region, said the suspect has been arrested and that the crime is basically solved.
Several people have previously been detained for involvement in the crime, the motive of which is suspected to be connected to illegal fishing in the area.
