A Brantford woman who likes to read accounts of lottery winners on the OLG website, is now one of those stories.
Jennifer Adams won $50,000 recently playing Instant Bingo.
“As I was playing my ticket, I thought I made a mistake,” said the 50-year-old mother of two, explaining how the lottery terminal froze when she validated her ticket. “Everyone around me was excited, but I couldn’t believe it. It was like a dream.”
A worker in the automotive industry, Adams said she plans to let her winnings “sit in my bank for a bit.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Maple Convenience on Colborne Street in Brantford.
