City councilors approved the free parking for Bulldogs games during their budget deliberations. The city’s budget was finalized on Feb. 20.

Parking at the parkade is always free on Saturdays and Sundays.

The parkade has state-of-the-art digital CCTV security cameras, upgraded lighting and additional security and bylaw staff on patrol, said the city. The cameras are monitored by an on-site supervisor who can dispatch security guards when needed.

The parkade also provides easy access to the Brantford Public Library, Market Square, the Sanderson Centre, Wilfrid Laurier University and downtown businesses.
