Brantford Police seek information related to downtown assaults

Brantford Police Service has released several photos in the hope that information from the public will help identify suspects in two assaults last month.

Police say on Friday, Oct. 27 at about 5:40 am, it was reported that two males assaulted a female victim in Victoria Park at Market and Darling streets in downtown Brantford. Police say the victim didn’t know the attackers.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Immediately after the incident, at the corner of Market and Darling streets, police say the same suspects are believed to have assaulted a male victim by spraying him with mace.

The suspects are reported to have been picked up by an older model (2003-2009) white, four-door Lincoln Town Car with tinted windows.

Both suspects are reported to have been wearing dark-colored clothing.
