Two teens, one male and one female, face assault-related charges following a Saturday night stabbing in Brantford.

Police were dispatched to a Market Street South address at about 11:55 pm Dec. 7. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of serious and what appeared to be life-threatening injuries, police said Sunday.
A knife was seized by officers at the scene, police said.
A 16-year-old male and a 16-year-old female have been charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, mischief under $5,000 and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Police said the accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Crime Stoppers seek tips about mischief, fire
Crime Stoppers of Haldimand-Norfolk is reaching out to the public for help in solving incidents in Caledonia and Langton.
Police are investigating an act of mischief at a Larry Crescent, Caledonia address that occurred on November 17 at about 5 am when unknown suspect(s) damaged a vehicle parked on the property. A second vehicle in the same neighborhood was also damaged.
Meanwhile Crime Stoppers is also hoping anonymous tips from the public will help solve a suspicious fire on Concession Road in Langton.
Norfolk OPP, responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area at about 11:36 pm on Tuesday, November 26, arrived to find an unoccupied home in the area engulfed in flames. The vehicle, described as a red or burgundy Ford Crew Cab pickup truck, was not located.
