Brad Pitts next film is decided a huge director behind

We know Brad Pitt’s next project, and it’s heavy: he will star under the direction of a huge director adored by the public.

Movie fans will jump for joy. Brad Pitt is reportedly preparing for his new role. And not the least, since it is an appearance in a film particularly awaited by critics and spectators, directed by a beloved and adored filmmaker.

For the third time in his career, Brad Pitt reunites with Quentin Tarantino in the cinema. The 60-year-old actor will star in the filmmaker’s final film, The Movie Critic, according to information from the specialist magazine Deadline. However, we do not know what his role will be, but he could play the main protagonist of the film. Brad Pitt therefore finds a director he has followed for several years. Previously, the American actor had played in Inglorious Basters And Once upon a time… in Hollywood. For this last film, he also won the Oscar for best supporting actor in 2020.

For now, little is known about this new project, apart from this attractive casting. Quentin Tarantino has revealed little about the content of The Movie Critic. Among the information we have on this final project, we know that the plot will take place in the world of cinema, in the years 1977. Tarantino had indicated in March 2023 that it would not be a film “devoted to a film critic journalist”, contrary to what might have been suggested by the press. The feature film “is inspired by the story of a guy who really existed, but was not famous”, “who wrote film reviews for a porn magazine”, he specified at Cannes in May 2023 , at the microphone of Deadline. Apart from Brad Pitt, we do not know the other actors in the cast.

Originally, Quentin Tarantino wanted to shoot The Movie Critic in autumn. The actors’ strike, however, changed his plans and the filmmaker now hopes to release this feature film during the year 2025. The 60-year-old director confirmed that this was his last film as a director, since ‘he does not want to direct more than ten films in his career (he counts the two Kill Bill as one and the same film). This feature film is eagerly awaited, not only because it is the last in his filmography, but also because Quentin Tarantino is an adored director: these feature films are distinguished by finely crafted dialogues, a often bloody scene and numerous movie references that his fans seek to unearth.
