16 people, including five children, were injured in the fire in Jönköping on Tuesday evening.
The police announced late in the evening that a person was arrested on suspicion of arson and serious illegal trespass.
On Wednesday, the police stated that a boy under the age of 18 has been arrested by prosecutors.
– I realized during the morning that he has been arrested. But I will forward all questions to the prosecutor, says Olle Älvroth, press spokesperson for the police in the eastern region, to the Jönköpings-posten.
