(Tiper Stock Exchange) – BNL BNP Paribas – among the first banks in Italy – integrates, within its app di mobile banking“Just in Cash”, a new functionality thanks to which customers can withdraw cash from a network of affiliated merchants, located throughout the national territory. The Bank is also developing agreements with the Big organised distribution.

“This initiative – he declared Mauritius Wolf, Chief Operating Officer Retail Banking BNL BNP Paribas – is consistent with our open banking strategy, which allows us to act as a multi-service platform for the benefit of clients’ daily and planning needs and expectations. The partnership with Sonect is in fact one of the many collaborations that we develop with financial and other industry players and follows an omnichannel logic, combining the functionality of the advanced ATMs that BNL has in the area with a network of merchants. It is a “win-win” strategy, which primarily brings benefits to customers and to all the other players involved.”

In particular, Just in Cash it is a solution to virtually expand the collection network available to customers, while maintaining the technological safety standards typical of this operation. At the same time, affiliated merchants will be able to provide an additional service, attractive to new customers, which makes it possible to reduce the risks and costs of managing cash in the store.

The service is made by fintech Sonect, and is based on proximity technology: by activating geolocation from the BNL app, it is possible to locate the closest merchant. Once the user has reached the shop and chosen the amount to withdraw, he will be able to generate a code (QR or bar) valid for 30 minutes to show to the merchant who, equipped with a special reader, will immediately receive authorization to complete the withdrawal operation.
