The Blue Bloods ending is already a done deal and fans only have one season left to say goodbye to the cop series. From what it looks like, the plot of the final episodes will also be revealed final storylines worked towards. Some of the stars themselves don’t want to separate from Blue Bloods.

Blue Bloods Season 14 hints at an end for Tom Selleck’s Frank

A current Looper article has now gone into more detail about the storylines of the Blue Bloods season currently running in the USA. Tensions are said to arise between Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh) regarding future plans for projects in New York. Chase is said to want to expand Frank’s solo job into a five-person committee, which Frank rejects.

The conflict remains unresolved after the current Blue Bloods episode, but it does indicate one slow farewell to Selleck’s character at. Frank may want to retire from the police because of the new conflict that has arisen.

Tom Selleck doesn’t want to give up Blue Bloods

At the same time, Looper is reminiscent of a statement the star made to TV Insider. Here Selleck said at the beginning of the year that he doesn’t want to give up Blue Bloods at all:

CBS will find that a lot of people aren’t ready to say goodbye to this. The series is more popular than ever and I think ratings will increase with interest this year. We definitely won’t run out of ideas.
It looks like the actor’s personal interests are colliding with the end of Blue Bloods decided by those responsible. It is currently not clear whether the series will perhaps be extended.

When does the 14th season of Blue Bloods run in Germany?

In the USA, the final Blue Bloods season will be broadcast in two parts. The final episodes are scheduled to air in the fall. There are in this country no German start date yet.
