Blizzard’s president, Mike Ybarra, talked about the radical changes that will be experienced within the company after the “quite difficult” 2021.

Ybarra shared the lessons they learned from the process that indirectly caused the chaos in the company and the cancellation of Blizzconline 2022. Perhaps the most striking part of Mike Ybarra’s message is that “our top priority is to create an environment where you can trust Blizzard again”.

Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard, talked about new teams to be established within the company.

According to Ybarra’s statements, the success of Blizzard’s executives will now be judged on whether “a safe, inclusive and creative work environment is created within Blizzard.” Apart from the changes in the management approach, Mike Ybarra also talked about the new teams to be formed and the resources to be allocated to prevent the “frat boy culture” problem within Blizzard from happening again.

According to Ybarra’s statements, to the Blizzard team in summary;
