What’s the deal with the statue? Blizzard promised back in May that the first 1,000 players at level 100 in hardcore will get a name on a statue. Up until now, no one knew exactly what that would look like.
In a social post, the community Adam Fletcher has now shared a first picture of the statue. A giant, almost life-size Lilith now stands on the Blizzard campus in California, apparently near the famous Orc statue:
However, the engraved names of the players are still missing. This is because Blizzard has yet to check who is allowed to be entered at all. Because the achievement for level 100 had to be shared and then collected.
Blizzard is now checking whether the participants actually meet the requirements. For example, players from certain countries such as Russia and China are excluded and testers are also not eligible.
In addition, Blizzard reserves the right not to engrave inappropriate names. The exam will still take a while, but that’s understandable considering that names in carved stone can no longer be easily deleted or changed.

The reactions to the statue are quite positive. The image of Lilith is apparently well done, with some fans showing surprise that the statue is real. They would have expected a place in the game, not a stone object in California.
But many fans also make fun of the statue and say: “What, another altar that we have to unlock?” Even some journalists joke and say: it will be difficult to reach them. Or they puzzle over what bonuses one might get for this altar.
