A 77-year-old woman has been missing in Smedjebacken since Saturday morning.
The police received the report on Sunday and have since searched several areas in Smedjebacken with helicopters and dogs, reports SVT Dalarna.
– We are still looking for her and we have a large number of resources working at the same time, says Sophia Jiglind, press spokesperson in the Bergslagen police region, to TT.
At the moment, the police do not suspect any crime.
– We have almost been working for a day with the search effort. Police personnel from across the region have volunteered to work to search. We go in with full force and hope to find her as soon as possible, says Jiglind.
During Monday, the Swedish Armed Forces and Missing people will also participate in the search.
