He walks a little stiffly and has some ailments that come with age, but has no problems that would make him unfit to be president. That is, roughly summarized, the statement from the White House doctor on the state of health of US President Joe Biden.

According to the doctor, Kevin O’Connor, Biden is a “healthy, active and robust 81-year-old, in the shape necessary to successfully carry out the duties of a president.” And there have been no new questions since last year’s review, writes Politico.

The president walks a little stiffly, but that hasn’t changed for the worse since last year, according to O’Connor.

More on Biden’s abilities and physical status can be found in a six-page report, the result of a three-hour medical examination on Wednesday.

According to some opinion polls, many voters are skeptical about Biden’s age and whether he has what it takes, medically speaking, to manage to be re-elected for four years.

– I am all right, said Biden himself when he received questions from journalists after the report had been published, adding that everything has been reviewed.
