She’s American and just posted Between two, an album that Mélody Gardot recorded with the Franco-Brazilian pianist, Philippe Powell. On this album, the jazz singer offers covers, but also original titles where she delivers herself in French. In particular, she declares her love for Paris, which she considers to be her adopted city.
And then another facet of Melody Gardot’s talent can be discovered right now and until September 30 in Paris, at the Hune Gallery in Saint-Germain-des-Pres. The American star exhibits 150 Polaroid photos that she took herself, as well as three magnificent portraits of her taken during confinement, by photographer Laurence Laborie.
