Before the meeting with Örebro, Leksand had six straight losses. Now it’s seven straight losses.

But it was Max Veronneau who gave visiting Leksand the lead early in the second period. It was the Canadian’s twelfth goal of the season.

But Örebro would come back into the match in the third period. Samuel Johannesson shot and via Ludvig Larsson the equalizer found its way behind Filip Larsson in Leksand’s goal.

The match then went to extra time where it only took 18 seconds before Jonathan Lekkerimäki scored the bonus point for Örebro.

Örebro thus won on home ice for the first time since January 23.

– Very tough, I think you play a pretty good match, said TV4’s expert, Staffan Kronwall about Leksand.

Challe Berglund sees bright spots despite the loss:

– We are on our way back, I am not worried about that. Then you don’t like to lose.

Berglund also saw the referees after Leksand was blown on a free-kick in the final stages of the match:

– Then I’m damn pissed off that we didn’t get a goal when Vejdemo was free, it’s not even offside.

Then he jokingly added:

– I’m going to go in and take a neck swing on a linesman, everyone, and then it will be an uppercut and so on. No, it’s over.
