Yesterday afternoon residents of the porch flats on Nicolaas Maesstraat were told that they are no longer allowed on their balconies. In total there are 24 homes, the majority of which are rented out by housing association Portaal. There appears to be damage to the suspension points, the columns and base plates with which the balconies are attached.
