The police are looking for a man with an ax in Hunnebostrand.
Several witnesses raised the alarm about how he started chopping with the ax at a car.
– It is unclear why, no one was in the car when it happened, says Caroline Karlsson, police spokesperson.
The alarm came in to the police just after 12 o’clock about the man. When the police arrived at the scene, he had disappeared.
– It must have happened in a parking lot near a residential area, we are searching with several resources in the area for him now, says Caroline Karlsson.
Later, information emerged that another man in his 50s to 60s was involved in the damage to the car by throwing stones at it.
None of the men have yet been found and police remain in the area.
