Russia’s oil and gas revenues in rapid decline for the first time
The sanctions imposed by the West and the avoidance of Russian oil, as well as Russia itself almost shutting down gas imports to Europe, are for the first time properly reflected in the export and tax revenues received by the Russian state. A sharper drop is yet to come, as the EU’s heaviest economic sanction, i.e. the crude oil import ban, will only come into effect in December.
Ukraine: Mass grave in retaken Izjum
The Ukrainian authorities have found a mass grave in the city of Izjum, which was recaptured from the Russian troops, the president said Volodymyr Zelenskyi. According to the local investigating authority, there are approximately 440 bodies in the grave area. Ukraine has invited journalists to visit the site today.

Schools cannot function without the cooperation of municipalities
Municipalities must network in order to be able to organize basic education in the future. Sugar shortage ending popular soft drinks in the Philippines
The Philippines is suffering from a severe sugar shortage. Sugarcane is the most important crop in the Philippines, but now sugar is more expensive than ever in the country. The beverage companies Coca-Cola and Pepsi have warned that the production of soft drinks in the Philippines will not continue as before, unless sugar is imported from abroad quickly. Coca-Cola Philippines has already had to temporarily shut down 30-40 percent of its production lines.
