Snow and water rain in the southern parts, frost expected on Christmas Eve
Low pressure moves east over the southern and central parts of the country. The rain comes mainly as snow, but it also rains in the south. In the afternoon, it will become cloudy and clear in the west. On the back side of the rain zone, dry and cold air flows from the northwest, and temperatures drop to freezing.
