Tomorrow one of the best Star Wars series ends on

Star Wars? These aren’t just the big movies or lavishly produced live-action series. The star saga created by George Lucas is also waiting for a long one Tradition of animation projects on, starting with a corresponding segment in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978.

However, the biggest Star Wars milestone in animation to date only started much later: The Clone Wars. The series has the galaxy far, far away kept alive, when no new episodes were released in theaters. No wonder Lucasfilm didn’t want to say goodbye to the Clones and ordered a sequel.

The Bad Batch went from the derided The Clone Wars successor to one of the best Star Wars series

The Bad Batch, the official successor series to The Clone Wars, started in 2021 after the eponymous unit genetically modified clones had already appeared in the original for several episodes. Three years later, we have already reached the end of Clone Force 99’s journey. The finale will be released on Disney+ tomorrow.

Much like The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch has one amazing development laid down. While the series initially seemed like a series of discarded ideas from the parent series, apart from a few strong chapters, the spin-off developed over the course of its three seasons into one of the best Star Wars series ever.

The story begins with the events of Order 66 and leaves us with the biggest upheaval in the Star Wars universe from the perspective of a clone unit experience who stands against the empire and is now on the run. World dream adventure and political thriller at the same time: The Bad Batch is extremely dark Star Wars.

By Season 3 at the latest, The Bad Batch has earned its place alongside Rogue One and Andor

As the Empire’s influence expands across the galaxy, The Bad Batch moves into the gritty Star Wars corner that also houses Rogue One and Andor. The third season in particular invests a lot of time in this big shift in power in the background through the tangible fates of characters.

Tomorrow, on May 1, 2024, we will find out how the story ends. After three seasons with a total of 47 episodes, it’s over. The Bad Batch says goodbye with one last dangerous mission in the fog of war before the next Star Wars animated series knocks on the door on May 4, 2024: Tales of the Empire.
