Audi unveils the Activepshere EV concept, which will be announced on January 26

Audi’s versatile concept EV, called Activesphere, will be fully revealed during the company’s Celebration of Progress event on January 26. The name of the event is Audi’s “Progress through technology” Consistent with its slogan, the Activesphere is just one of Audi’s four concept cars aimed at demonstrating the future of the automotive industry.

We have the Skyshpere roadster, the Grandsphere grand tourer, and the Urbansphere, a smart, compact city car. Activesphere, on the other hand, is touted as the most versatile of the lot. According to Audi, this car can be anything you want it to be.

It can overcome any road, including off-road. Even the trailer shows a ski kit attached to what appears to be a solid glass panoramic roof, displaying red accent LEDs inside the cabin. Perhaps the most intriguing part of the teaser is the cropped center section as opposed to the wide fenders.

Hopefully we’ll learn more about all of Audi’s concepts during next year’s event, and we’ll learn about Audi’s plans to make these concepts a reality.
