Now we get to the heart of the debate with a calendar that is presented to define the part of the project that concerns the section from Pescara to Chieti, another fundamental passage that has been blocked for decades due to an ancient dispute over the crossing of Sambuceto. We are moving forward on a railway that is fundamental, it is a backbone of our Region’s connections to the Capital”.

For this reason I invite everyone to contribute by informing themselves, sending comments and contributions and participating in public meetings. It is a very important project, which will quickly and sustainably unite the center of Italy its implementation creates economic activities for many people: these difficulties must urge us to do a good job together, to find solutions that reduce and, where this is not possible, adequately compensate those who are damaged”.

For Gianpiero I squeak, RFI CEO: “We are starting the Public Debate phase on this work because we believe in the discussion with the stakeholders, which started about two years ago, with the Region and with the municipalities of Abruzzo.
