On April 13 this year, a woman living in northern Sweden passed away. The children decided to cremate her.
The mother’s last will was that the ashes should be scattered in a lake in a small town in Finland where she was born and bathed as a child.
The sisters soon began planning the trip that would take place next year. But about a week ago they received a letter in the mail. The mother’s ashes had already been scattered in northern Sweden in June, where the mother lived, without anyone notifying the family.
