– It was a bit of a coincidence, but he suggested that I try it. I thought it was great fun and got hooked straight away, and have continued ever since, she says, admitting that it’s not just pole vaulting that she’s busy with.
– Pole vaulting is my main event, but I do some sprints on the side as well, 60 and 100 meters. Speed is super important in pole vaulting too. It means that you get more power.
