It was during the night of Monday 3 June that two men were shot to death in the Hageby district in Norrköping. The double murder is part of a widespread wave of violence that has hit the city in the past year.

The fatal shooting also meant that the police made a decision to introduce a so-called safety zone in Hageby – which was the first zone to be introduced in the country.
