Caused 40 million Thai baht worth of damage, the fire quickly spread to the building. Footage shared on social media showed a fireball and thick black smoke rising into the air above the one-story warehouse in Nakhon Pathom province.

Nakhon Pathom Provincial Lieutenant General Thanayut Wuttijarathamron said the suspect had been detained and “confessed” that he set fire to the factory. According to Major General Chomchawin Purthananon, the factory has been on fire for the second time in recent months.

Authorities say that in the explosion, which took place on November 29, the woman started a fire because she was angry with her boss, who constantly scolded her and told her to work harder in her statement to the police. No one was killed or injured in the fire.
