Andrew Lincoln’s return as Rick gets bloody

Ever since The Walking Dead Season 9, fans have been waiting for the missing Rick (Andrew Lincoln) to return. He will soon be reunited with his wife Michonne (Danai Gurira) in the spin-off The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne. That the new wedded togetherness will not go smoothly, now shows a new production picture from the shoot.

Gurira recently posted the new insight via her Instagram account:

“Have you seen this man?“, she commented on the picture of a bloodied Andrew Lincoln, alluding to his disappearance in season 9 of the parent series. Rick has since been held captive by the Civic Republic, so he could face a violent escape. Whether the blood is his own or that of his opponents, however, is not known.

Rick & Michonne is just one of several spin-offs to appear in the future of The Walking Dead. Another favorite of the horror series, for example, is supposed to be in the spotlight of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
