Among the countries most affected by natural disasters… Scary earthquake in the ‘Pacific Ring of Fire’!

A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s Maluku province.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) announced that the epicenter of the 5.7 magnitude earthquake was 158 kilometers northeast of Tual city of Maluku.

According to the first determinations, there was no loss of life or property in the earthquake that occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

On the other hand, Indonesia Meteorology, Climate and Geophysics Institute (BMKG) announced the magnitude of the earthquake that occurred at 16.19 local time as 6.

BMKG did not issue a tsunami warning after the earthquake.

Located in the earthquake and volcanic belt called the “Pacific Ring of Fire”, Indonesia is among the countries most affected by natural disasters. (AA)
