Amersfoort – Athlete Veerle Bakker has forced participation in the European Cross Country Championships in Turin next Sunday. De Amersfoortse was initially not part of the selection, but the Athletics Union heard her objection to that decision. Technical director Vincent Kortbeek has included her in the European Championship squad.
