Amazon Prime Video goes live with limited ads starting February 5. Members will be able to pay extra for the ad-free option in addition to their existing benefits.
Amazon Prime Videohas announced an important change to its users: starting February 5, movies and TV shows will contain a limited number of ads. With this change, Amazon aims to continue and increase its investment in attractive content. It is stated that Prime Video will contain significantly fewer ads compared to ad-supported TV channels and other streaming service providers. Prime members do not need to take any action and there will be no change in the Prime membership fee. It was also announced that an ad-free option will be offered for an extra £2.99 (approximately 80 TL) per month.
