Race walker Aleksi Ojala reads Väinö Linnan novels Unknown Soldier and Here Under the North Star every year. The time off at week-long foreign camps and competitive trips doesn’t last long with the classics of war novels.

Ojala and Linna (1920–1992) are united by Urjalanism. Ojala, 29, has waded through the production of the literary greatness of his home municipality of Pirkanmaa dozens of times.
