Åkesson maintains: Diesel will be ten kroner cheaper

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The Sweden Democrats have municipal days this weekend and local politicians from all over the country gather in Karlstad. After the criticism that the party’s promised reductions in fuel prices are delayed, SD leader Jimmie Åkesson now says that he still aims for diesel to be ten kroner cheaper.

– If we can minimize the reduction obligation, 4-5 kroner will disappear on the diesel, says Åkesson.

TV4’s political commentator Ann Tiberg points out that after that there is still five kroner left to reach the goal.

– Then we will see what we can do further, in the form of tax cuts and we will see how the world market price develops. We will push to do what we can to make it as low a price as possible.
