After the scandalous scenes at Tele2 – working group is added

The match between the two Stockholm teams ended in smoke, fire and with supporters entering the pitch and getting into a fight with the police. After Sunday’s violent scenes, strong criticism has been directed at the football club AIK.

– We know that things are forced in, threatened or carried in clothes in places where according to legislation the staff are not allowed to search, over the chest and in the groin. There are quite a few parameters that make it difficult to completely prevent it from entering. It’s not an excuse, just an explanation why these things are inside the arena, says Martin Fredman, head of security at the Swedish Football Association.

Sunday’s match was suspended and resumed after a few minutes. The incident has been classified by the police as a violent riot, and the Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer has called the Swedish Football Association to a meeting about security.
