After the cold, the weather has become a little milder, but going forward it will change to cold weather again, says Jannicke Geitskaret.
– Next week it should be really cold again. Not down to minus 40 degrees but definitely around minus 30 in the north.
The unusual mother-of-pearl clouds have been seen in, among other places, Kiruna and Uppland.
– The fact that they are unusual is due to the fact that they are quite picky about when they want to show themselves, special conditions are required.
Other weather phenomena that have been seen include “halos” and “frost roses”.
