After the landslide – charging for pizza boom

Pizza baker Zaid Antwan in the small town of Ucklum has seen an increased number of customers at his pizzeria since the landslide in Stenungssund. Now he’s charging up for a pizza boom.

– I’ve lived here for six years, there aren’t that many customers, says Zaid Antwan in Efter fem.

After this weekend’s landslide on the E6 at Stenungssund, traffic has had to be diverted, via the small town of Ucklum. A detour that takes much longer than the motorway. But there are still some who see advantages in the diversion of traffic. One of them is Zaid Antwan, who runs a pizzeria in the small town.

– I don’t have much traffic otherwise, but now there are a lot of trucks, says Zaid Antwan in Efter fem.

Need more tables when more customers are waiting

He works at the pizzeria himself and has already noticed increased pressure, now he is charging for the onslaught that awaits, something that P4 Gothenburg was the first to report on.

– I have to get more tables, he says to the radio.

There is a clear difference in the traffic through Ucklum before and after the landslide and Zaid Antwan has never seen so many customers.

– I’ve lived here for six years, there aren’t that many customers, says Zaid Antwan.

Most popular pizzeria

What goes down best with the customers is in any case clear to Zaid.

– There will be a lot of kebab pizza, says Zaid Antwan.
