After connected glasses Snapchat launches a tiny drone

Almost six years after launching its Snap Spectacles connected glasses, Snapchat is embarking on the drone race. Snap Inc, parent company of the social network, has just unveiled Pixy, a tiny drone that fits in the hand, designed to offer users of the platform a way to capture Snaps from a new angle.

The Pixy is equipped with a camera module capable of capturing 12 megapixel images, or recording video in 2.7K at 30 frames per second, and can store a hundred videos (or 1000 photos) via flash storage 16 GB. It also has a Bluetooth LE connection as well as a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection (802.11 b, g, c, n, ac), to ensure easy transfer of Air Snaps to Memories in the Snapchat app. installed on your smartphone.
