During yesterday, the police called for witnesses to violent crimes committed by a woman in Ängelholm.
On Monday, a girl was seriously injured in the same area – and a woman was arrested for attempted murder.
Now the police are looking at the connection between the events.

A ten-year-old girl is being treated for serious injuries after being stabbed in Ängelholm on Monday evening, according to information from TV4 Nyheterna.
The police have arrested a 35-year-old woman who is being held on suspicion of attempted murder. The police state that there is currently nothing to indicate that the woman and the girl know each other.
On Sunday, the police in Ängelholm put out a wanted list on Facebook after several violent crimes occurred around Villan and Skörpabäcken – all by a woman.
“The reported incidents took place between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. during the period 31/5-7/6 and were in all cases carried out by a woman,” the police wrote in the post.

The areas are close to the place where the stabbed girl was found on Monday.
The police have now begun to look at connections between the previous violent crimes and Monday’s attempted murder.
– It is a bit early to say. It is not an impossibility that it is the same woman. It is something that we have with us and that we work with all the time, says police spokesperson Sara Andersson to TV4 Nyheterna.
The police appeal to the public to contact them if they have information about the events.
– We want people to get in touch soon so that we can either link this woman to those events or write her off, says Sara Andersson.
