(Finance) – TheABI has just issued a circular letter to the Members in which it reports that the Ordinance of the Head of the Civil Protection Department has been published on the website of the Department of Civil Protection with which a measure of suspension of payment of mortgage installments, as a result of the exceptional meteorological events that occurred in the days from 24 October to 5 November 2023 in the territory of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Such Ordercurrently being published in the Official Journal, incorporates the contents of the agreement signed by ABI and consumer associations to ensure timely interventions in favor of populations affected by natural disasters.
With the publication in the Official Gazette it will be possible for banks to follow up on the ABI’s request to immediately implement the suspension of mortgages for this territory.
